Foundry
Talk
Describe the idea. Foundry asks the questions a business adviser would and suggests names if you don’t have one.
Idea in.
Business out.
Tell Foundry what you want to start. It names it, draws the logo, builds a website on your own domain, lists the gear you need and walks you through the ABN, so you can start taking jobs instead of reading guides.
Free to build. A$49 to launch, then A$9/month for hosting. Built for Australian sole traders. By joining you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy.
What Foundry sets up
How it works
A conversation, then a business you can show people.
No templates to fight, no plugins to install. You answer questions; Foundry builds as you go and shows its work in the side panel.
Brand
Four logo options to choose from, colours that pass contrast checks, and copy written for the people you serve.
Publish
A fast one-page site on your own domain, set up for Google: page titles, business schema, FAQs, sitemap, plus privacy and terms pages.
Equip
A starter-kit list with Amazon and eBay links, and a printable A4 flyer with a QR code to your new site.
Launch
The boring bits, already filled in.
ABN and business name
Foundry works out what you need, pre-fills your answers for the government form, checks your name against the register, and confirms your ABN once you have it. You lodge it yourself, in about 15 minutes.
GST, licences, insurance
Whether GST applies at your turnover, the government licence finder for your activity and state, and what cover to get quotes for.
Google Business Profile
Category, description and service area written for you, ready to paste. Your home address stays hidden.
Google Ads, drafted
A Search campaign for your area: headlines and descriptions within Google’s limits, keywords, negatives and a starting budget.
Your data
You approve every dollar.
The assistant can suggest a purchase but can’t make one. Nothing is bought until you tap Approve, and your credit is refunded if a purchase fails.
- Your domain is registered in your name, with WHOIS privacy
- Your street address is never published on your site
- Your website has no trackers, cookies or analytics
- No ads, and nothing sold to data brokers
Foundry is a tool, not legal, tax or business advice. The full detail is in the Foundry privacy schedule and terms.
